» ROAD NOTES: Live in the Lot (w/ Fighting Gravity) Every show we do with these guys is great. What else can I say. The guys in the band are generous and supportive, as are their fans. We opened the show from 6 to 7. It was great to see some of our fans out for the early show. FG took the stage about 7:45 and rocked for two hours straight. They haven't lost a step. Considering all the crap they've endured throughout their career, they are still one of the best bands around, no question. We stuck around for their whole set (which is a rarity for us), sold some more merch, packed up, and headed back to Richmond. Despite the traffic jam and our Italian sausage stop, we were home before midnight. Not a bad night's work. |
