CARBON LEAF'S RAGTIME CARNIVAL

Richmond – The Virginia Museum of Radio & Concert Entertainment (VMRCE) announces the 2nd Annual Carbon Leaf's Ragtime Carnival at Pocahontas Live on Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16. This year's Ragtime Carnival features 13 bands on 2 stages over 2 days.
Carbon Leaf will perform three (3) sets over the weekend, closing both nights with a full set starting at 8:00pm and performing an acoustic set to open the Saturday portion of the carnival at 11:00am.
Additional highlights include actor/director Jeff Daniels (Dumb & Dumber/The Newsroom) with the Ben Daniels Band, Trigger Hippy featuring Joan Osborne and former Black Crows Jackie Green & Steve Gorman, and local artists Sons of Bill and People's Blues of Richmond.

Two-day general admission tickets will also be available for $35.00! Tickets go on sale this Friday morning (2/20) at 10am through www.pocahontaslive.com, Brocks Bar-B-Que in Chester, and the Pocahontas State Park office.
Festival-style-primitive/tent camping for Carbon Leaf's Ragtime Carnival will be offered through www.pocahontaslive.com. Camping rates are $12 per person for one night or $20 per person for both nights (No electrical hook-ups, no water hook-ups and no RV/camper/van/car camping is offered through the Pocahontas Live website). No automobiles will be allowed into the festival camping area for the weekend, attendees who camp will carry into the camping area what they need. Automobile parking will be near the festival-style-primitive/tent camping area. Unfortunately, no campfires will be allowed in the primitive camping area.
NOTE: Attendees wishing to camp in an RV/Camper/Van or tent campers who wish to have ELECTRICITY/WATER HOOK UP AND/OR FIRE PITS will need to make reservations through the Virginia State Park reservation system at http://www.reserveamerica.com/va/pocahontas-state-park/campground/r/campgroundDetails.do?contractCode=VA&parkId=140180
Camping in the state park campground is extremely limited and available ONLY through the Virginia State Parks website. When the state park campground is full no additional RVs/Campers/Vans will be accepted and there will only be primitive camping available through the Pocahontas Live website.
